Terms of Service

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Fluey AI, Inc. (“we”, “us”) governing your use of BeaconBox — the Chrome extension, the web dashboard, and the services behind them. By creating an account or using BeaconBox you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What BeaconBox does

BeaconBox monitors online communities you choose, uses AI to surface posts that match criteria you define, and drafts suggested replies. It reads the sources you configure through your own signed-in browser session and sends collected content to BeaconBox’s server-side processing services. Depending on your access and permissions, a monitor may read public, login-only, or private community content. BeaconBox never automatically posts, comments, votes, sends messages, or submits forms on your behalf: every draft requires your review, and publishing anything is always an action you take yourself.

Your account

You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for activity that happens under yours. You must be at least 16 years old. Keep your connected browser and devices secure; disconnecting the extension or signing out revokes its access token.

Your responsibilities

BeaconBox reads third-party sites through your logged-in browser and helps you write replies. You are responsible for how you use it, including:

• Complying with the terms, rules, and rate limits of the sites you monitor and the communities you post in.
• Adding only sources and content you are authorized to access and authorize BeaconBox to process. You must not use BeaconBox to bypass a site’s authentication, paywall, access controls, or technical restrictions.
• Reviewing every draft before posting it. Drafts are AI-generated suggestions and may be inaccurate or inappropriate for the thread; what you publish is your content and your responsibility.
• Being transparent where a community expects disclosure of commercial interest.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to spam, harass, mislead, or manipulate communities.
• Attempt to bypass usage limits, meter, or access controls, or probe or disrupt the service.
• Use content obtained through BeaconBox for an unlawful purpose or in violation of a third party’s rights.
• Use the service for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Third-party sites and AI output

The sites BeaconBox monitors are not ours; they may change, block automated reading, or remove content at any time, and we do not guarantee coverage of any site. Scans run from your Chrome browser and may pause or fail when Chrome is closed, your device sleeps, a site permission is not granted, or a source is unavailable. AI-generated relevance judgments and drafts are probabilistic: matches may be missed or wrong, and drafts may contain errors.

Intellectual property

We own the BeaconBox software and service. You own your monitor configurations and the replies you write and post. Content collected from the sites you monitor remains subject to the rights and terms of its original authors and platforms. BeaconBox stores that content only to operate your monitors, show you matches, generate drafts, secure the service, and maintain the records described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fluey AI, Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose (or $50 if you paid nothing).

Termination

You can stop using BeaconBox at any time; contact us to delete your account and data. We may suspend or end the service or your access to it, and will make reasonable efforts to give notice when we do.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will change the date above when we do, and for material changes we will notify you by email or in the product. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms.
